The genuine versus the fake struggle

When the monk is employing his death to the world truly & sincerely & living everyday with Jesus, he finds the divine love doors are opened to him.

God doesn't appear except in the hearts of those who submit themselves totally to Him.

The true meaning of the death to the world is the crucifixion of your self. It is an inner death, that doesn't base itself on laws of fast, ministry; yet it relies on self –disavowal before & during exerting the laws. Self disavowal is more important than a successful ministry.

To Love Jesus Truly is to hate your old self, with its will, desires, customary recreation, habits ands its old pleasures in the false worldly bonds.

Commentary:-

The above is not to be considered as irreverence to the laws or the deeds of a monk. This is crystallized clearly from the personal life of this reverent monk & his education to his spirituals sons of the monastery. Nevertheless, there is a distinction between struggling in works, fasts & services for the self glory & competition purpose among monks & the core of all the above which is the self disavowal & the love of Jesus Christ. Otherwise worship will be abridged to only copying the elders hollowly on how to stand how to compete in fasting till we grow skinnier, how to talk etc… and all the just outer aspects without the real essence of doing all that.

It is obvious that to worship the Lord Jesus is to hate your old self & disavow it till the very end; a whole death not a partial one; a true death not a fake one. As the partial is phony & the shallow is fraud.
